This body of work is a personal exploration of my Jewish identity, shaped by family stories, rituals, and the ongoing impact of antisemitism and global events. Drawing on memory and tradition, I use art to process and honor the complexities of belonging. These pieces invite viewers to witness both the vulnerability and resilience that come with holding onto heritage in a changing world.
Echoes of Hatred is a series born from the weight of memory and the persistence of trauma. Each piece is constructed from small, round tins—intimate containers that hold the fragments of a painful legacy. At the base of every tin lies an image from the Holocaust, grounding the work in the catastrophic origins of modern antisemitism.

Layered above, sheets of acetate bear images of antisemitic acts and symbols from the 20th and 21st centuries, with a particular focus on the alarming surge in antisemitism following the Hamas massacre in October 2023. These transparent layers blur and distort the past, echoing the way trauma reverberates through generations and is reshaped by each new wave of hatred.

This series is both a personal and collective reckoning. As a Jew, I confront not only history’s shadows but the ever-present reality of antisemitism in today’s world. Echoes of Hatred invites viewers to witness how the past is never truly buried—it resonates, layer upon layer, to the present day 2025.
